Our History
Started in 1975 by Andy Storrs in a small apartment, A.T. Storrs Ltd. has grown to be a leading supplier to the travel retail industry.
In 1977, Andy was joined by his wife Patricia and the company steadily grew from there. Having started out selling jade jewelry, Andy later became a partner in a Jade mine. He soon discovered that his passion was in working with customers and decided to focus on the souvenir industry. As a family run business Andy and Patricia wore many hats, spending a lot of time on the road and with customers to grow the business. They set their product apart by leading the industry in packaging and presentation. This remains a key focus today as we strive to make all our products beautiful gifts and memories.
In 1991 our abalone jewelry line was launched and this quickly became a cornerstone of the business. After many years of success in the Canadian market, we expanded into the USA in 2001, hiring key sales agencies in Seattle and Denver. The expansion was successful and in 2003 we moved into a larger facility to accommodate our growing business.
Having started out washing jade in the backyard as a child and working part time in the warehouse, Ian Storrs joined the company full time in 2007 and took over as President in 2012. Looking for new opportunities to grow, in 2013 A.T. Storrs Ltd. acquired North West Laser Design – a custom engraved wood souvenir business. With this new division, the company expanded and moved into their current 25,000 sq. ft. facility. In 2019 we acquired Jackson Pacific Inc. – a custom brass ornament company. This was a great opportunity to continue a family run brand that we had always admired.
We are grateful for all the wonderful customers who have helped our family business grow throughout the years. Building on our decades of history, we are excited to continue to provide our customers with great quality products and the best possible service for many years to come.
